Hi everyone,
Here is my problem. I finally got the MR3040 firmware updated to use it for the app dslr controller. It works very nice with my phone a android ZTE model Z790 v4.4.4, so I know the MR4030 is working properly. The Amazon 7" Fire tablet 5th generation OS 5.1.2 I had side load Google Play store in order to download the app dslr controller, which for some reason isn't working correctly. It shows up on the tablet with 2 icons. One says dslr the other says dslr gallery. The gallery doesn't show up on my phone.
When I run the either app on the Fire tablet it turns the screen goes horizontal and quits, going back to the main screen. I have uninstalled it with the same results.
Anyone have any ideas why this might be happening? Is it because of the side loading play store in or that the app thinks I didn't pay for it?
The tablet will link with MR3040, but the app just starts and fades.
Thanks for your input in advance. I'd really like the tablet to work, just because it is so cheap at $50.00 it would make a fantastic monitor.
Thanks again Jeff
