Need halp whit restoring an Asus Zenfone2
Hello. I've tried to go back to the stock rom on my Assus zenfone2. Followed an totorial instaled the boot.img, recovery/img, bu when i had to shat down my phone at the end and go to the adb part to install the update.. my pone is not let me access the recovery part and is showing on the screen only an usb icon... and i can do anything. can anybody help me? Retrieve stolen phone using Cerberus and bash
So my phone got stolen and I have Cerberus installed on it as a system app. The phone got wiped and I can't do much with the app right now because it requires location/phone etc. permissions to be turned on, (which I forgot to do).
I'm able to open up a shell command via Cereberus.

Swapping SD card causes all kinds of problems
I put a faster SD card in my daughters Moto E (which had slowed to a crawl) - formatted internal. Whatsapp can't save/download images. Camera can't store images. Many error messages about storage. I've ejected and reformatted multiple times. Do I need a hard reset? Is there a strange setting I don't know about. Setting it to external doesn't help. :rolleyes:

help getting Xposed on a Samsung N900T running 5.0
I recently rooted my N900T using CF root, and all went well. Now I would like to install the Xposed framework, and have no clue which file to install, as I have found dozens of them, as well as reading it won't work on Samsung.
This phone has a stock rom, running 5.0 and I'd rather leave it that way. I've heard about using either Odin or Flashfire to flash the xposed framework, then just installing the APK, but once again, which file out of the dozens out there is for this device?
My main reasons are ad blocking, and to disable the idiotic headphone warning (since I can't strangle the developer of that screw up, heh heh) I use xposed on my old Nexus 7 and love it, and afaik, it was easy to put it on there.
I have searched, but either didn't find what I was sure applied to my device, or didn't find it, so sorry if it's already out there.

USB Debugging
I have an LG GPad 2 model LG-V940n with current software (v10b USA) running Android 5.1.1. The tablet reports itself in USB Debugging mode but is not recognized by ADT/adb 1.0.36. Development platform is OS X 10.11.
I have seen some posts that indicate that some have had to jump through some hoops to get USB debugging to work on other LG tablets.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Help - Shield TV never-ending boot animation
So I've been having a lot of trouble today, here's a quick run-down of the situation:
- Have been using 16GB model with no problems for the past few weeks
- Installed the new 3.2 update yesterday, played games for hours, no problems
- I'm using a 128GB microSD card as adopted storage, but I removed it (in the Settings) and formatted it before rooting (put supersu on it to flash from TWRP)
- Followed a guide to root today (so that I can use SixAxis app), flashed TWRP no problem, flashed SuperSU no problem, everything worked fine
- Set the microSD card up as adopted storage again
- I copied over some of the backed up files i had (from Android/Data and Android/OBB)
- As I was reinstalling and testing some games/emus, I experienced multiple random reboots
- Attempted to boot into recovery, was met with android guy on his back
- Flashed TWRP from fastboot again
- Booted into TWRP and it worked, booted into system and still experienced reboots.
- Grabbed the latest factory image (3.1 i believe) from nvidias download center, made sure it was for the 16GB modal
- Flashed the image following the directions here http://developer.download.nvidia.com...very-Image.txt

Flashtool can't detect busybox
Well,strange things are happening to my phone...After I managed to get root access,according to Root Checker,I connected my Z5 to the PC but Flashtool doesn't detect Busybox and displays ''Root access denied'' message.Also in Service menu the DRM keys seems intact and the Rooting status is:Bootloader unlock allowed:Yes.

Poor battery life
Yesterday I bought a zenfone2 z00a and flashed it with cm13 but the battery life is extremely poor. The phone went from 100% to 0 in two hours(on the 3g network, no bluetooth active and such). Then i flashed resurrection remix, the battery life improved but it's still poor compared to my last phone(Gionee elife s plus).
Anyone else has this kind of problem?

Where are default brightness values stored? (Event 85)
The purpose of this question is related to an intermittent problem that I experience on my Eonon with the Malaysk 444 rom, which results in the screen going blank. I suspect that it is "stuck" in auto brightness mode, and as a result some of the auto brightness values, for whatever reason, do not register for my device and result in a blank screen.
My temporary solution to this problem is to rekey a physical button using MTC-Keys as event 85 (event_44=85). This works to move the brightness value from 0 to 100% with a few steps in between. My results are that I go from 0% which is a blank screen, then get 25% brightness, then 50% results in a blank screen, then I see 75% and 100% as expected. Does anyone know where the predefined sequence values for event 85 are stored? I'd like to play with setting different brightness values (0-255) for the various steps to see if I can find values that work at each stage. I suspect this might fix the auto-brightness values as well.

Camera zoom
I noticed that my S7E camera is notchy when zooming in during video recording. Unlike the Note4 phone that has a smooth zoom. Is there something in the settings that im missing or is it just how the S7 is? I thought the S7 had the best camera. This is only when shooting video and zooming in and out. Even if done slowly it steps. Other than this everything is thumbs up.

1.80.617.1 issues switching from Wi-Fi to T-Mobile LTE
I updated to the 1.53 and then to the 1.80 firmware recently and have noticed that when I leave the house every AM; I cannot connect to T-Mobile (US). Often I must reboot the phone with wifi off or far away from a known signal to properly reconnect w/T-Mobile...I have a signal all the time, just not on their network.
Currently I am using a rooted stock 1.80 based rom and its daily now...anyone else out there experiencing this? Its almost like its the 1.80 firmware itself perhaps?

Hard(?) Brick
Hello guys, looks like I am the first one, who has a hard brick... My Problem:
I wanted to root my oneplus 3, so I unlocked it. After unlocking, I flashed TWRP, rooted it, and wipes cache and dalvik. The last step I did, was trying to lock the bootloader again. I typed
It finished after 0.020 s an my phone tried to reboot. It tried for about three times and is now doing nearly nothing. The LED is white. I tried to boot my phone with holding power, holding power + volume up, holding power + volume down, holding power+ volume up + volume down. Nothing helped. It does not want to do anything. Has someone an idea, if I can safe it? :( And if not, is it a case of warranty?? Please help me..

Phone wont register on network!! Need Help!!
Hello guys!
I love this phone, but i am having problems getting it to function properly here in Sweden. It was originally bought on a contract and simlocked to Tre (carrier). I bought the phone second hand from swedish ebay (much cheaper than brand new) with the intention of unlocking it and using with my carrier (Telenor).
Tre would not unlock the phone for me (have to see out 24 month contract) so i unlocked it myself using the services of unlockscope.com. The process was successful, and the phone no longer asks for a network unlock code when using previously locked sim.
The problems start now.. It just refuses to register on the network! If i switch the phone off, insert sim and start, then i get a brief flash of the carrier name in top left corner (2 seconds), and then it goes back to saying emergency calls only.
I cannot register manually, i have tried hundreds of times, even though the carrier appears in the list. The apn settings are also correct for my carrier.
I have also contacted my carrier and they dont understand the problem. I even had them run a check on the imei to see if it was blocked on their network (possible stolen phone) but it came back negative, no blocking whatsoever!
The weirdest thing is that it works when using my brothers Tele2 sim card! The phone registers in seconds and displays a nice 4g symbol next to the signal indicator! A thing to note is that this Tele2 nano sim fits very nicely in the tray and stays in place, whereas my telenor sim is extremely loose and falls out, though i have tried taping my sim in place with no success.
Can anybody relate to this problem or think of a possible cause? I dont know what to try anymore! I'm thinking that there must be something wrong with the phone, but then why does Tele2 work perfectly??!!

How to install OTA updates after Unlock/Root/TWRP Bootloader?
I unlocked and rooted my Nexus 5X and installed the TRWP bootloader according to Heisenberg's great instructions.
But now I'm getting OTA updates downloaded to the phone. How do I install them? Or probably a more correct question, does anyone know where I can find those updates in a TWRP flashable format? I can't find them.

Joying 5.1.1 7" MTCD JY_V1 head unit review
Ive had this unit for about 2 months now. Purchased it from the US seller on amazon. It shipped within 24hrs from NY. Arrived in Florida in about 4 days.
It arrived in the typical plain white box, no thumbdrive with this one, no sd card. Not a big deal as i have plenty of both. Well packaged and un damaged.
The vehicle i installed it into is a 2016 Mustang GT, base model with the 4" screen and abomination that Ford likes to call "sync".
Without getting into why, I wanted a head unit that would have navigation and run apps without all of the nanny controls you find on the more common units, and did NOT retain ford sync. If anyone has ever been on a mustang forum, you will see half the threads are complaints about the factory sync, or people testing out various Chinese replacements for the base system. None of these options interested me as i would be still stuck with sync. So i discovered these types of android head units first on ebay, then some research on youtube lead me to the "Joying" brand. I figured it was more money than the typical china mustang screen upgrades, but less money than i would spend on an alpine or pioneer that still would not do what i wanted.
Contrary to what most people told me, there was plenty of room behind the dash, as long as you use a bezel from a premium model. I was able to complete the install to this point without cutting ONE SINGLE WIRE thanks to a member on mustang6g forum who made me a custom harness. In fact, Joying didnt even want to sell me the unit as they said it would not fit, despite my sending them pictures showing it would. It was as if the world wants you to suffer with a garbage radio if you own a 16 mustang lol.
So far this uint has performed nearly flawlessly. It has never frozen on me, or even slowed down on me for that matter. I am able to run pandora, spotify-yes spotify! waze, google maps and navigation, chrome, even netflix. I was rather surprised just how well all the apps run on it as ive read threads on here where people have had issues with some of these apps, but it runs just as fast or faster than my galaxy s5. The only thing ive seen happen is if you try to run apps as its still booting up it will bog down.
The sound quality of the built in speaker level amp is very good. much better than stock. I have not tried using the pre-amp outputs yet or the sub output. The factory equalizer does its thing, has a fader but not a spacializer. It appears to be able to use the steering wheel controls but i have not tried to tackle that yet. Also, there is an area where it appears you can read the vehicle can bus, but i have no idea how to connect that as there is almost nothing on the market for the 15-16 mustang yet.

If anyone on this forum can point me in the right direction as far as steering wheel controls or can bus connection I would really appreciate it, and of course ill try my best to answer any questions about my experiences with this unit.

Tab S 10.5 and >128 GB MicroSD Support?
Long time reader, possibly first time poster, and I had the following doubt:
SanDisk released a 200 GB card earlier this year and I saw they recently made 256 GB version and I was wondering if anyone had confirmed that the Galaxy Tab S supports MicroSD greater than 128 GB?
Has anyone tried one of these 200 GB or 256 GB MicroSDs in their Tab S yet?

Dead S4 mini latin version
I know this may have been posted before, but all those debrik images are for I9195 LTE variant but none are for the Latin variant (I9195L) hence the "L" so, I was wondering if someone got the debrik image for this version. About the phone itself it mostly dead, but when I connect to my PC it shows as "QHSUSB_DLOAD" in device manager so it gave me some hope.

why dose every AOSP rom for my xperia z1 have a pink haze glitch?
i have been noticing that i cant seem to get a good rom, every 5.0-5.0.1 AOSP rom gives me a pink haze like on some screens like looking at photos and the camera and every 6.0-6.0.1 rom the data dosent work right and has battery drain.
but im more concerned with the pink glitch on LP AOSP, why dose that happen?

lte band question on tmobile
I'm currently getting band 4 (NJ) in my area with great speeds. I just picked up the oneplus x and I'm wondering if down the road I may be on 3g or hspa connection since it doesn't have band 12. With tmobile expanding the band 12, should I be concerned that I wont have lte connection. will band 4 be inaccessible/dropped if band 12 hit my area? I'm not sure how the whole lte bands work.

Recommendations?
So, I've never actually used Xposed on this tablet for various reasons. One reason being I couldn't get the deodex program to actually deodex the files. It would just fly through it and the log would show all files failed. When I did get it to work, I couldn't get Viper to work. It essentiallly came down to the fact that I couldn't get Viper AND deodex, and therefore Xposed, to work at the same time. I wasn't about to give up Viper though. Well, I finally was able to get them both to work last night and now I'm looking for Xposed modules to install.
Current modules: Physical Music Button Control, APM+, YouTube AdAway, and YouTube Background Playback.
Any recommendations for "Must Have" modules?

DROK OLED USB 3.0 Tester with Quick Charge support
Unboxing
The Device is well-packaged in a really nice Aluminum Package, that contains the Tester (of course), a small strap (this one reminds me Baby Toys, i don't know why haha) and an extremely details Manual that i'll show you.
It is made of Plastic, pretty solid (much better than other cheap USB testers) with a nice Blue color.
It supports USB 3.0, so both USB ports have the typical Blue color and the additional pins inside that enables USB 3.0 transmission.
As regards the size, well it doesn't need to be measured. It has the standard size as almost every USB tester. But if you want an example, it is as big as a Standard USB Stick.
The device comes with a bright OLED Screen, with light-blue text on a black background. Its board support multiple interesting features, that i'll gradually show you in this review.
On the back, there is a Key button required to switch between all modes.
Testing
First of all, this is the Official Manual where ALL features are described, with every single How-TO and so on. Even if it isn't written with a perfect English, it is still perfectly understandable.
So, following the Manual's order, the device supports three modes. Direct - Fast - Disconnected.
Using the "Connect" mode, the device will work as a standard tester, without forcing any Quick Charge protocol or something else. (just like you do when you connect a device directly to its charger).
This mode can be used with all devices, without having to worry about compatibility issues. (as you can see, both standard & QC devices work)
Also, as the Manual says, it is clearly noticeable that the Over-Voltage feature works without any issue at all, because on the photo on the right you can see a little arrow just near the voltage.
With the "Fast" mode, you can choose to force AC Charging even using your Computer's USB Ports. You can switch to this mode by pressing the "Key" button while you insert the Tester into your USB port.
As regards the last mode, "Disconnect", i still have to find how it works, so i'll probably update the review as soon as i manage to get it working. If i understood correctly the manual, it works with USB Data devices, and you can "kill" the data transmission to increase charging output, but i am not sure.
In order to make all things easier, there is a LED light that alerts you when it is ready to receive a command (long-press or double-click depending on what you want to do).
You can easily switch between "mAh" & "mWh" by long-pressing the Key button for 2 seconds. (if you keep it pressed for more seconds, the screen will rotate, this is another interesting feature).
The last feature regards its screen mode, you can switch to another more detailed view that will show "mAh" & "mWh" in the same time. (double-click the Key button)
Conclusions
Sincerely i have no words to describe this device...it is awesome! It has almost everything that you need to test your USB devices (almost everything because it doesn't have a Timer and a Temperature Sensor). It is solid, easy-to-use and it doesn't feel cheap as others. It feels Premium. Well Done DROK!
So...do i recommend it? Yes! If you need a professional, reliable USB Tester, this is probably the best choice.

Charging speed on various ROMS
I know DASH charge is not supported on roms until later in July when the source is released but what are the charging speeds on various roms?
Do they get full charging speed at 5V?
On my oneplus 3 - Oxygen OS - I get 5V 1.5amps with the google nexus 5v/3a charger. In fact, it seems to limit charging speed to 1.5amps max for non dash chargers.
Can ROMs get 5v/3a?

Invalid boot image header - boots but not
Hi,
I have a very strange problem:
I have a XT1032 now is all stock (Android 5.1) but when I wanna boot the phone normal just restarting I get "invalid boot image header" from bootloader. If I reboot to system via TWRP it boots without a problem.

Even if I flash CM 13 or reflash the whole firmware with bootloader gpt etc..same problem. I don't know why it says Aero Kernel when I have stock CM 13 or stock 5.1 and boots without a problem. and why GPe ????
I forgot something: if I do mfastboot reboot just that it boots in recovery instead of OS. The recovery is flashed on recovery partition.

Even if I flash CM 13 or reflash the whole firmware with bootloader gpt etc..same problem. I don't know why it says Aero Kernel when I have stock CM 13 or stock 5.1 and boots without a problem. and why GPe ????

Third party apps brightness control
Hello,
I just got my new galaxy s7 edge, I find out that all the third party apps in-app brightness control aren't working, such as quick pic, mx player, pocket... The built in video player is working though. Volume control is working fine. Please help!

Now everyones bootlooping. And i dont know about u guys but no warranty for me cracked screen plus thermal paste mod.
I hate to buy another phone cause im not giving 200 for a motherboard.
I kinda like this old piece of junk.
Tool says once we gett rebooted in system we have to turn on 3 small cores.
No one is giving any advice in the g4 threads maybe you guys might be more inclined since the option isnt available to you either

need debugging help for full android marshmallow
I have the full android 6 installed and it is running fine - except one thing:
when using Skype or LINE messenger, I do not hear the other side.
Since audio is working with music files and TV, I guess this is somehow a matter of encoding/decoding the special messenger streams. (On my chinese android box, all works fine. )
What can I check or debug?

Random Touchscreen Problems
Wondering if anyone else face this problem.
On my xperia xa i have random freezes, but more like touchscreen freezes. It happens for 10 seconds or so.
Touchscreen on bottom hardly reacts and i cannot pull down notifcation bar.
It's already a replacement unit. Both with exactly same reactiion.
When it happens you can see that touchscreen just rechnete evry 10 touch When repeatly touch home Button for example

GLTools on htc one x
I have a game called mutant genetic gladiators and it has high resolution and my HTC one x is only 720p so the game freezes then crashes every 3 minute. I started using gltools to lower the resolution and the game still freezes and crashes so I think maybe some of the other options that gltools has like the expert ones might fix this but I know nothing about it so I ask help if anyone knows anything on how to fix this plz tell me. And also this is my first time ever on xda forms and sorry if my English is bad.

Pretty sure i ruined my phone.
Was in the process of IMEI repair. (Just for reference.)
My phone use to be rooted and on a custom rom. It was previously reverted back to stock DOK2 5.1.1. My phone cannot be flashed anymore for some reason. I cant even flash the DOK2 file that goes in AP. I tried flashing the trlte pit file and now my phone doesn't boot past the T-Mobile logo. I think im missing some files to do a full ODIN flash.

I have two questions: Everything is fine with My ROM etc. But I have 2 problems: First, Ehen I swipe up in the lockscreen, the Screen unlocks. I never set that as unlock (I use my fingerprint) and searched EVERY setting there is and found none that matched the problem.
Second I have a Bluetooth issue. Whenever I wake my phone the audio stutters. This also occurs when I am in the Bluetooth menu. I found a lot of threads that describe similar issues but none worked (governor change, certain apps, dalvik cache/cache (even though its only log files) etc.)

Lost visual voicemail
This has happened to me a few times on different ROMs, but when I was on my N5, I was able to toggle the setting for VV back on in the phone app's settings. I'm currently on Bliss on the OP3 and I've scoured the settings section and there is no mention of VV. Anyone know any other way I can get it back? I'm running a custom theme also - not sure if that's what made me lose it.

[FIX][MM] Screen Rotation Fix - libgnustl_shared.so
Occasionally when using Titanium Backup to freeze / uninstall certain preinstalled apps like Facebook screen rotation will stop working.
This is because Titanium Backup removes libgnustl_shared.so during the uninstall.
To fix this:
-Download libgnustl_shared.so
-Copy libgnustl_shared.so to /system/lib
-Reboot!

Modify lg g5 lock screen
So Im trying to personalize the lgg5 current lockscreen(i wwould like to have a kind of iphone lock screen, i like how they show you notifications) i found a nice one on play store actually that is Next, i like it, the problem its that i have that lockscreen and the system lockscreen on background, so when I unlock Next lockscreen, i have to unlock System lockscreen after. With fingerprint it works good because it unlocks both lockscreen at the same time. But i would like to have only one lockscreen enabled, i can do this actually with Next but i lose fingerprint option(beacause you only can enable this with other lockscreen option for backup)
I dont have root experience but, it is possibly to modify lockscreen with root? Or it exist another lockscreen app that someone of u uses that doesnt have this issue?

Access Notification Log
Is there a way to recover swiped away notifications on Marshmellow on the Note 5? All the info I find is about long pressing the home screen and adding a Setting Widget.

I have TWRP 3.0 loaded and most installs seem to load fine but cant boot up.
Viper ROM loaded but a lot of the services kept crashing so now I am looking for something else.
A lot of the instructions to loading ROMs seem inconsistent on the process so if anyone has some words of wisdom it would be appropriated.

I installed busybox, disable the audiofx, changed selinux to permissive and installed viper4android.apk on rooted galaxy s4 i9505 crdroid marshmallow 6.0.1. Everything seems to be fine but viper4android not working. No sound improved.

So after I unlocked my op3, playstore is acting strange..
Could be unrelated to the unlocking but for some reason I cant see my purchased apps. I only see the free versions, for example when I search for "titanium backup" the free versions and the paid version would show up. Now I only see the free version. Is there some app purchase permission settings? Or could I reinstall playstore?

Touch problem on SM-G360H
Hi all:
i installed cm12.1 on core prime sm-g360h after that, my touch screen is damaged then the care center fix it with a new digitizer .
now i face touch problems :(
1- i must press down the key to touch the key (ex: if i press x i type d).
2-scrolling is so slow and without animations (ex: when i scroll down fast in setting, i must arrive to the last page of setting fast , but its only stops when i remove my finger on the screen)
i can make a video but idk if i can put the link here .
can anyone help :(

As the title says, can anyone provide a list of the oficiall stock apps (from stock rom) that I can safely uninstall???, avoiding FC's and random weirdness.
I'm using a Mexican S7 Edge (from Telcel) and I succesfully uninstalled all of my carrier bloatware, but I want to make my setup as minimal as possible.

Lawsuit against LG for defective phones
Hi ! Being a LG user owning G4...i think someone should sue LG for making defective phones all year around... We heard when G3 was launched some certain models had bootloop issue that was ignored and now even G4 almost every other day i see a dozens of new phone having some hardware fault being in a constant bootloop...now even if ur in there warranty they are still certain conditions you need to pass which if u dont will not be fixed for e.g imei should match the country that you live in otherwise they wont fix it, some times they say they are not responsible the carrier is ...is the how this flagship company operates ?? ...i know its a korean company they are running all over the world they are not taking things very seriously either they do it and stop there operation...now G5 is now launched i bet u even G5 is going to have a bootloop issue after certain period of time...someone or all of us should file a lawsuit against this company enough is enough..follow the link below to see more

Modding the DirectStylus slot back into the Shield K1
My first post on xda-devs after a long time away.
So as you might have guessed by the title, I own the Nvidia Shield K1. Bought it used a few weeks back and wanted the stylus. Since it's apparently made from Unobtainium, that took a few weeks.
After receiving it and opening my Shield K1 (can be done using a fingernail, I was pleasantly suprised) I found the original Stylus slot still in there. It seems Nvidia only changed the exterior Mold and closed the Stylus Slot that way.
I'll attach a few pictures that shows the process and final look. The pen fits snugly inside and doesn't fall out (even if I run carrying the tablet in my hand).
The only thing is: The tablet doesn't detect the removal of the stylus. That is somewhat expected but comparing pictures from iFixit with my tablet, I can't find the sensor that's supposed to be in the original Shield Tablet. If someone owns the original Pyro and has opened / wants to open it, could you please send me detailed pictures of the stylus slot? If you know where the sensor is, even better. Perfect would be if you could send me logs of the events that are triggered on stylus removal (should be obtainable via adb / adb shell / logcat, no root needed).
Enough talk, time for pictures.
Open the tablet starting from the MicroSD slot (a credit card, fingernail or something like that works great)
File the metal under the cable down so you have enough slack and glue it down. In the original Shield it's done with tape, I used some crazy glue.
Remove some material from the back cover. I used some small files to do all this. Doesn't take much effort since it's all plastic.
Final Result of my mod. Works great. The Stylus is held firmly in there and I can remove it easily

My Z3 Compact burned the plate and ended up getting a ZL (ZQ).
Although old, the Cell is great. I like very much.
But not my GPS Works. Not fixed. is looking for GPS satellites, is not it. Li that is a trivial problem with this model. I've changed the ROOM. Already downloaded several applications and solved nothing. I wonder if anyone has a solution for this?

Meizu Mx 4 locked, forgot password, how to reset?
Hi,
It's not my phone it's my little brother's friend's phone, he forgot his password and he asked me cuz he knows I have a little bit of knowledge in this topic.
Anyway, with a Nexus or smth where I can easily use ADB I know how to reset the phone, but I have no idea about Meizu.
It's an MX4.
I just want to factory reset it...

I have the a problem that I install other TWRP custom rom and now when I turn the phone gets stuck on a screen that says:
Odin mode (written in red letters)

Fap lock: off
Qualcomm secureboot: Enable (CSB)
rp swrev: s1, t1, h1, r1, a11, p1
Secure download: enable (written in blue letters).
But the android as it should (I guess) does not appear and can not find the way to fix it
I only have 2 days with the phone and then this :( . I am a newbie on this field so that may explain why I failed

[Q] Internet browser app battery drain
Hi all,
I have a problem with the internet browser app. It takes a lot of the battery.
Please look at the screenshots.

Here you can see that the internet app takes 43% of the battery usage. The screen on time in this case is 1h28 which is the 6%

Here you can see that the 'totale verbindingsstijd' (total connecting time) is about 3 hours, but I uses the app for only like 30 mins, perhaps that's were 'CPU- totaal' stand for.
After usage, it looks like it 'still keeps running', although it's not running.
I've tried several browser apps like Dolphin, Chrome, Firefox and Opera but with all I've got the same battery drain problems.
I'm running Lollipop 5.02 stock and just the stock kernel. Unrooted.
Any thoughts?

Samsung Galaxy S2 I9100 - Will she run the newer apps ?

My first time posting here so bear with me.
I have had my SGS2 since new so about 4 years I guess.
And over the years as per normal certain apps won't run on her anymore as they require the later model phones / operating system.
I rooted the phone some years back.....and would like to know that if I am to update the operating system to KIT KAT, Jellybean or Marshmallow, will the phone run these latest applications ???
I have started to look at the various ways to update the software, but it seems to be a never ending mine field of advice and ideas.
The first stumbling block I cam across is that I can't make a Clockwork mod recovery as the software won't run n my old girl.
So....any advice is really appreciated.

Marshmallow, update, unlock, root
I have note 4 n910t rooted and software unlocked but when i check for mm update it fails it says your software has been modified so i will try to update using odin but after update my phone remains unlocked?
