Lags in youtube

Hi, whenever im watching a video and i tap somewhere else whether it be comments or scrolling through videos it stucks untill i remove my finger. Even the single tap will make the video lag. And on android n dp3 its worst because i cant use multiwindow with youtube due to these lags which are annoying. Any way around this? Or only i have this problem? Thanks
