Hello everyone new here.
I currently have a AT&T Unlocked Galaxy S5 running android version 4.4.4 Build: KTU84P. G900ACUCU2A0A1. And I've been wanting to update it to the most recent android version 5.1.1 and then to 6.0.1 when that is released. I've read that with a lot of people they have problems with the wifi hotspot not working on a unlocked S5 G900A while using a different carrier, but for me it works perfectly fine with my T-Mobile sim since I've owned the phone, and I've used it everyday, phone is not rooted as far as I know. The question is if I were to manually install the stock updates to 5.1.1 will that mess up that feature and make it so I can't use it anymore?
