Hi everyone,
I am a noob so please do take it easy.
I just bought a new OnePlus 2, and I'm seeing it comes with a multitude of malware, (CM Cleaner, Magic Photo, 4Share, DCShare, etc), and I'm always receiving pop-up ads which are very annoying.
Upon doing some research on Google, I discovered certain companies while selling the OnePlus 2, sell the devices loaded with the bloatware (Eg: Kogan, although they have resolved the issue since).
I would like to install the stock OxygenOS ROM on my device as if I have bought the device directly from OnePlus.
To do this do I need to root my device? If so, how?
Once done do I still stay rooted or can I remove the root?
If I stay rooted will I continue to receive OTA updates?
Finally, how do I go about reinstalling the stock ROM?
Kindly advice?
Million thanks in advance.
