Clicking on News/sports touch wiz widgets, articles do not open?

Hi everyone, I am on toolrom, touchwiz rom on galaxy tab pro 12.2. I have 3 news widgets on my touchwiz home. When I click on them, nothing happens. I am assuming that the full news article is supposed to pop up in a separate browser. Could someone help me out? Or at least tell me what is supposed to happen when I click on the widgets? BTW I do not have the stock touchwiz browser installed in the rom, but I doubt that's the issue. Maybe it's something that I've frozen? I've already looked through the frozen list and nothings seems relevant. Any help is appreciated. Thank you
