Has anyone else tried this?
I decided to update my 2nd rooted AFTV1 to OS 5. This box has been on the shelf for a while and missed many updates anyway.
I had to enable updates and restore stock recovery.
It ran 2 updates and the 2nd was OS 5. So far it works good.
I just found that my bluetooth headphones work great and it keeps the box awake so music and Alexa work even with the TV turned OFF.
USB flash drives work good too.
I'm not sure about restoring root yet. I may not want/need to.
