S6 Edge "an error has occured with the fingerprint sensor."

Hi, I just today got my S6 Edge back from my carrier after sending it in for warranty repairs. I took the phone home, restored everything and attempted to setup the fingerprint lock when I got the message "An error has occurred with the fingerprint sensor. If this message appears repeatedly, restart your device." I've restarted and even factory wiped a second time to see if that fixes the issue but it did not. How do if fix this WITHOUT SENDING IT IN FOR WARRANTY AGAIN??. I only have 8 days left on my warranty.
EDIT: Forgot to mention that I also tried clearing the fingerprint app cache, that also did not work.
I have an SM-G925W8 on Wind Mobile in Canada.
