So I was messing with the media_codecs.xml found in /system/etc in hopes to add ac3 codec into the stock player. Didn't go so well because I currently have no sound right now and can not play videos. Can someone send me the original media_codecs.xml for the note 5? Would appreciate it very much. Please and thank you.
