S Health import from S4 to S5 not working

I have just bought an S5 and wanted to transfer S Health data I collected on my S4. The main pieces of data I am concerned with are daily steps and weight.
I did a backup of S4 S Health thru Samsung's account, then I tried to restore it on the new S5. It says import successful, and the app reloads, but no data is shown.
I repeated the same procedures after updating S Health on S4 to latest version... still nothing.
I looked up online who experienced such issue. I saw some trying to transfer to Runkeeper.
I managed to get my data exported in csv from S4 S Health. This happened following a tricky procedure to get into developer's mode, but I only got some data from 2016 and 2015, when I actually started recording since 2014. I still do not know why this happened, because in my S4 S Health I could viewer the old data as well.
So I had to create my own excel sheet and typed in manually the average monthly values. Now I try to see if I can import old data to Run keeper, but I think they do not allow such thing (it is possible to import GPX/TXC file types, but I have no idea how to convert csv data to that).
Anyone had to go thru this similar kind of issues?
