I recently broke my OPO and switched to this device using the same SIM card (I use T-Mobile) I've noticed on both devices they have a tendency to overheat. Both according to Coolify Flat ( going upwards of 40°C According to Coolify) and the lg g3 specifically in TWRP reaching upwards of 70°C according to the temp indicator there (can't remember if the OPO would overheat in recovery).
I'm wondering could the SIM be causing overheating issues?
Is it because the phones are a tad bit old?
Is it due to the 801 Snapdragon?
A culmination of the 3?
Or something I haven't thought of?
I should be receiving a new SIM card tonight to isolate that will report on that later but I would definitely appreciate any insight.
