After recieving some requests via PM, I made this recovery flashable hotspot mod for you guys. This is hard a hard-coded mod that will not be removed by updating profile/prl on your phone either manually or invoked by the network. It is compatible with stock PG1 odexed AND deodexed roms.
Note: If your PG1 rom has 5-way reboot mod or other mods that are done in services.jar, then this mod WILL break those other mods. This is stock original without mods. You can flash it on any custom PG1 ROM but it will remove mods that are in this file.
For this mod you do not need to be rooted, you will only need to flash the latest TWRP recovery and flash the zip. However this WILL trip the knox flag on your phone so if this is something you don't want to do then this mod is not for you. If you are already rooted then chances are you already have TWRP installed. There is no need to wipe anything. The script inside the zip will handle everything. If you need to flash TWRP then search for the TWRP thread here at XDA or ask for help in the Q&A forum. Now let's get to it.
Easy instructions (if you need more details about these steps then you need to do some reading here at XDA)
1. Download the mod zip from here ------> N920PVPU2BPG1_Odexed-Deodexed_Hotspot_Mod
2. place it on sdcard or internal storage
3. Reboot your phone to TWRP and flash the hotspot zip then reboot. Done!
Enjoy your free hotspot that should be included with all unlimited service plans anyway. :p
