I want to (and I have tried!) to port AOSP 7.0 Nougat to the Redmi Note 3 Pro, how?

So I have actually had a decent go at this. I got all the Nougat source, but all the RN3 Pro drivers are for cm-13.0. How can I port the drivers to Nougat so I can build AOSP 7.0?
