Yesterday, after being helped by @Hashbang173, I was able to build Moto X Pure recovery. I was planning to add the flip screen flag to make it compatible with the X Force, but after trying it out on my device the problem was gone, I didn't have to modify anything, just build the recovery as if it were a normal Pure X version.

I'm not an active AOSP/CM/TWRP developer and I don't have lots of time to fix stuff. I'm sharing this because it works for me, but don't expect any bugfixes from me or to take resposibility if anything goes wrong. It's unofficial for a reason.
