Figured out the other day that I had to give my two NPs a name, under Settings>About, when trying to cast from the Vudu app on my phone.
"Nexus Player" would pop up when I wanted to cast a movie, but nothing happened on my TV in the living room. BUT, my TV in the bedroom came on and the movie was playing on it instead! After thinking for a few minutes what the problem could be, it dawned on me that I remembered seeing the option to "name" the Nexus Player (it has default names built in too). So I named on Bedroom, and the other is Living Room. Problem solved.
Hopefully this will help anyone else who comes across the same issue.
