So long story short.. I got this unit from a co-worker because it would not boot. I would up unlocking it and successfully installing TWRP 2.8.something and CM 10.2. However no version of the Kindle apk would work, so since my youngest wants to read off the kindle library we have I went for reverting it back to stock.
I downloaded the update-kindle-6.3.4_D01E_4120720.bin from Amazon. FOllowing the many guide that said to rename the file to update.zip, push to the sdcard via adb then Install from TWRP. Did not work, kept complaining about 'assert failed'
Soo Googling I found how other had had success by downgrading TWRP to 2.2.1, which I did but before that I followed this: http://ift.tt/1lXewjS
Using Fastboot I erased everything, then flashed twrp-2.2.2.1-blaze.img to Recovery but now it's stuck at the KF splash. I can get into Fastboot all day long, but erasing and re flashing still results in the same thing.
