As the title says, I ended up with "dm-verity verification failed... Need to check DRK first..." on my Note 7 SM-N930F (UK Vodafone). :crying::crying:
It all started after a random reboot on my device, after which my pattern for booting up was unrecognised. I could not do anything, tryed rebooting it a few times, so I proceeded using up all of the tries for the pattern and factory resetting the phone. After it finished the factory reset I ended up with the above error message.
Also I am not sure if it has anything to do with the issue, but a few minutes before it happened I also enabled developer mode, and messed with the OEM lock switch ( not remembering if I left it on or off -.- ).
I tried flashing various stock ROMs with Odin / Smart Switch without any luck. The flashing succeeds in both applications, reboots, Installs updates till 32%, does a bit of Erasing.. and then reboots, but after it reboots its the same dm-verity error. Also tried installing a custom recovery or ROM and removing cache.img and hidden.img from stock rom and then flashing without any luck.
Download mode has the following parameters:
Current binary: Samsung official
System status: Custom
FRP Lock: On
Any ideas or suggestions for a possible fix are welcome, down to trying anything on it.
Would really like to use it until the Samsung recall thing goes live.
