is the Official update the same as the 'unoffical' PE6 and should I go official?

A few Q's...

im on unofficial PE6.

Is it worth downgrading and upgrading to the official PE6?
Will I lose everything and have to reinstall from scratch?
Is there a shortcut way to do the upgrade from unofficial PE6?
Is there anything different in the official build?
Did I forget anything?
