Google Keyboard 5.0/ 5.1 Failz

So as soon as I found out that Google 5.0/5.1 keyboard was released, I excitedly installed it. And it is a huge Improvement. Finally, (it's taken years) Google swiping accuracy has actually surpassed Swype. (Swype had the best swiping accuracy. Swiftkey has atrociously bad flowing accuracy).

Google has finally also implemented dictionary word Blacklist. Why it took them this long, I have no idea. By long pressing words, you can now remove them from your dictionary forever. No more continually swiping stupid words that you will never use in conversation ever.

However, here comes the huge FAIL. While you're able to long press and delete a word, it's never the actual word that you're typing. It's similar suggestions. WTF Google? If I want to Blacklist a specific word, how do you do that? If I type the actual word out, and try to select it it doesn't show up in the suggested words. Only similar suggestions populate. For example, say I'm trying to delete the word 'Bulgaria'. If I type 'Bulgaria', it doesn't show up in suggested words list. What does show up is 'Bulgarian' or 'Bulgaria's'.

How the fack do you remove the specific word you typed? Am I doing something wrong? This is driving me nuts, because there's so many words I want to get rid of immediately.
